Audax Renovables begins construction works on el Toconal project

 

The company obtains the administrative and construction authorization for El Toconal project, which allows it to start construction immediately.

Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), the integrated energy group with 100% renewable energy generation, continues to boost its generation activity through the different generation projects that make up its portfolio.

Continuing with its commitment to keep the stakeholders permanently informed on the progress of the status of the projects incorporated in an exercise of ongoing transparency, and in relation to the El Toconal project, located in the town of Los Navalmorales (province of Toledo) with a capacity of 5 MWp, the Company is pleased to announce the obtaining of prior administrative and construction authorization from the competent authorities.

Now that the building permit has been obtained, the company plans to start construction next week, ensuring that it will be accompanied by first-class contractors, which meet high quality standards, under the EPC (turnkey) modality.

With this authorisation for the construction of the aforementioned project, Audax Renovables currently has 55 MWp under construction in photovoltaic projects plus 66 MW of wind power in Panama, in which it has a 30% stake, and in which 5 of the 20 turbines have already been hoisted.

As usual, and over the coming weeks, the Group will continue to inform the market on a regular basis about the progress of the projects in its portfolio, in order to keep its stakeholders and its investors permanently informed.

These projects are part of the Audax Renovables Group’s firm commitment and strategy to increase its 100% renewable generation portfolio, focusing on increasing its generation portfolio either through organic growth or by closing purchase agreements, with the aim of supplying its customers with renewable energy produced at its own plants.
