In an environment where investors, markets, customers and regulators are demanding ever greater rigour and transparency, integrating sustainability criteria is a key factor in our competitiveness and business resilience. That is why we place ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria at the heart of our corporate strategy.
We understand sustainability not as just another department or project, but as an integral part of how we manage our business.
This approach translates into a strategy geared towards solid growth and the responsible management of environmental, social and governance matters, which drives business development while incorporating the management of our environmental impact, particularly in our power generation activities. We are committed to offering the best service to our customers and to a management model based on the principles of good governance, with robust and rigorous control structures.
Our core business is the supply of electricity and gas, which we complement with the development and operation of our own portfolio of renewable energy assets.
At Audax, we have been part of the energy transition for over a decade, investing and working to develop our portfolio of renewable power generation and to improve the efficiency of our activity.
Renewable energy sources are a good way to help tackle climate change, and this is where we focus our generation activity.
Audax’s growth plan includes new investments aimed at increasing installed capacity and strengthening the Group’s presence in strategic markets.
The development of our generation projects is based on the application of technical, environmental and territorial criteria from the outset, with appropriate site planning and integration into the surrounding environment. In this regard, particular attention is paid to the preservation of the natural heritage and to minimising impacts throughout the assets’ life cycle.

Audax has drawn up an ESG roadmap, the “ESG Roadmap 2026–2030”, with the aim of strengthening the Group’s sustainability management model, fostering corporate culture, anticipating regulatory requirements, minimising environmental impacts and maximising the value generated for customers, employees and stakeholders.
The ESG roadmap is structured around the three ESG pillars, driving specific objectives and initiatives that guide the Group’s development.
Reducing emissions and growing our renewable generation
We are working to increase our installed capacity by 500 MW and to reduce our direct greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 80% by 2030.
Environmental management
The Group will continue to strengthen its environmental management system, applying environmental management criteria consistently across its activity. We are making progress in implementing ISO 14001 certification across our subsidiaries, reinforcing a consistent environmental management model that is aligned across the Group.
Employees at the heart of the business
Audax’s greatest asset is the people who make up the company; that is why we are working to standardise employee management processes across all the Group’s subsidiaries by 2030. Under the hashtag #AudaxPride, we continue to build a culture based on respect, equality, professional development and the wellbeing of all employees who form part of the Group.
Customer management
We build lasting, trust-based relationships with our customers, which is why we continue to improve our customer service and complaints handling processes. The plan includes expanding our sales channels and continuing to implement ISO 9001 certification across the Group’s subsidiaries.
Local Communities
Having a presence in nine countries has real significance: contributing to the communities where we operate. Over the coming years, we will continue to create direct and indirect jobs, prioritise local recruitment and continue to expand our programme of donations to local communities, because growing also means growing together with the areas where we operate.
Ethics, Compliance and Good Governance
At Audax, we are constantly strengthening our governance model on a solid foundation of ethics, transparency and regulatory compliance. The ESG Roadmap includes specific actions for the coming years, such as updating the Code of Ethics and Conduct, consolidating a culture of compliance through training across the organisation, and extending these principles to our value chain by defining standards for suppliers.
Information Security
Trust is also built by protecting information. At Audax, we are strengthening our systems and processes by implementing ISO 27001 certification and the National Security Scheme, moving towards a more robust and resilient model. In addition, we provide ongoing training for our teams in cybersecurity and data protection, integrating these capabilities as an essential part of how we operate.
To ensure that we act responsibly and in line with our commitments, we have corporate policies in place that set out the principles and guidelines which steer our activities.

At Audax, we strengthen our sustainability performance through action and transparency. For this reason, the company regularly participates in assessment and analysis processes carried out by independent organisations specialising in sustainability.
These assessments enable us to measure our ESG performance, identify opportunities for improvement and compare our results with those of other companies in the energy sector.
During 2025, the Group has reported information to the following leading bodies and initiatives:

Audax has a firm commitment to sustainable development and has been a member of the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact since 2010.
Audax aligns its ESG roadmap and operational activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on those areas where its impact is most significant. Through the generation of renewable electricity, the responsible management of its workforce and the strengthening of its governance framework, the company contributes to the advancement of these goals.
Audax contributes to renewable electricity generation through its own portfolio of assets. We work to expand our renewable generation activity in every country where we operate. In addition, we offer self-consumption and energy efficiency solutions that help our customers optimise their energy consumption.
Over 800 employees across the Group
93% of the workforce are on permanent contracts
We are committed to job security as the foundation for the professional development of our teams and for the sound growth of the business, fostering committed, dynamic working environments that are aligned with our culture and values.

Producing well is not enough if we do not consume more responsibly. That is why we promote a culture of innovation and responsibility by raising awareness and educating individuals and businesses about renewable energy and, in particular, about responsible energy consumption. Because responsible energy consumption is built on knowledge.
Our renewable electricity generation activity contributes to an energy mix with lower emissions. We promote the generation and consumption of renewable energy amongst our stakeholders and are working to reduce our direct CO₂ emissions by 2030.
The company monitors and calculates its carbon footprint in accordance with international standards, identifying the main sources of emissions and implementing measures aimed at their gradual reduction.
At our wind and solar power facilities, we work to make their development compatible with the surrounding environment. We manage the effects on flora, fauna and natural habitats in every area where we operate by implementing measures to prevent, monitor, minimise, restore and compensate for impacts, in line with the environmental mitigation hierarchy and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Audax helps to foster an ethical and transparent business environment by promoting a culture of compliance, respect for human rights and zero tolerance of corruption. Through a robust governance model, based on the Code of Ethics, the whistleblowing channel and rigorous control policies, we promote responsible practices that build trust in the market, strengthen our relationships with stakeholders and foster fair and sustainable economic development.
Audax views collaboration as a key driver for advancing its renewable electricity generation activity and the development of energy solutions. To this end, it forges partnerships with institutions, industry associations, companies and other stakeholders, with the aim of sharing knowledge, promoting joint solutions and contributing to the development of the communities in which it operates.
Beyond its business activities, it channels this commitment through partnerships with foundations and NGOs, contributing to the social and economic development of local communities and strengthening its integration into each region from a shared-value perspective.
