Audax begins the construction of the solar plant of Sezze 1 in Italy

This 4 MWp solar plant in Sezze will generate energy for 5,400 people, strengthening our presence in Italy

At Audax, we are advancing in our commitment to 100% renewable energy. With the start of construction of Sezze 1, our first Photovoltaic Solar Plant in Italy, located in Sezze, Latina, we are consolidating our growth strategy and the generation of renewable energy in the markets where we operate.

We have projected an investment of €2,348,405.11 in Sezze 1. Once completed, the plant will generate 5,917.92 MWh of renewable energy per year, enough to supply nearly 5,400 people. With its 5,040 photovoltaic modules, Sezze 1 will avoid the emission of 1,183 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually, directly contributing to decarbonization.

As Marc Farriol, Managing Director of Power Generation at Audax, explains, our objective in committing to generation in Italy is: “to continue growing in vertical integration, generating 100% renewable energy in those countries where we have a commercial presence”. The start of construction of this plant reinforces our commitment to an integrated business model, from generation to commercialization of 100% renewable energy.

Audax: our commitment to renewable generation

At Audax, investment in generation projects remains a priority. By the end of 2025, we have increased our installed capacity by 21.5%, reaching 325 MW, as a result of constant investment and a commitment to decarbonization.

We are advancing in hybridization with BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) in our solar plants in Spain, a step we intend to extend to our entire solar portfolio in the country, in line with our strategic objectives.

Our generation project portfolio amounts to 1,037 MW, with a presence in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Poland, and Panama, representing a 9% growth compared to 2024. This is our commitment: to continue investing and expanding our capacity to generate 100% renewable energy.
